IFK Åmål secured an important victory at home when they faced Köping FF in Division 3 Västra Svealand. Köping FF took the lead already after 13 minutes through Sebastian Sallanto, but it only took half an hour before Alem Plakalo turned the game around and equalized for IFK Åmål. Just three minutes later, it was Plakalo again who found the net to make it 2-1 for the home team.

However, Köping FF regained the lead through Sallanto, who thus had both of Köping's and the match's first two goals. But it turned out to be IFK Åmål's day, and Leandro Teofilo Santos Pinto managed to score to make it 3-2 before halftime.

After the break, it was Plakalo's turn to complete his hat trick and give IFK Åmål a two-goal lead. Köping FF tried to fight their way back into the match, but with a strong defense and another goal from Shaun Watt, the home team secured the victory.

Sallanto managed to score a third goal for Köping FF from a penalty at the end of the match, but it was not enough to overturn the impressive performance by IFK Åmål. After the match, IFK Åmål remains in third place in the table, while Köping FF is still struggling to avoid relegation in tenth place.
