Yxhults IK showed no mercy as they defeated Säffle SK 3-1 at Sporthälla IP in a Division 3 Västra Svealand match on Saturday afternoon.

Already in the third minute, Yxhult's Gabriel Pettersson scored to make it 1-0, and just five minutes later, Eskil Thor headed in a goal to increase the lead to 2-0. Yxhults continued to dominate the match, and in the 13th minute, Eskil Thor scored his second goal of the day, making it 3-0 for Yxhults.

However, Säffle managed to pull one back when Felix Nilsson put the ball in the net in the 21st minute. But despite an offensive effort from Säffle, including two substitutions in the 60th minute, their chances of winning the match remained minimal.

The only warning for Säffle went to Stephane Apagui in the 28th minute, while Yxhults' Carl Hägg received a warning in the 91st minute.

Yxhults substituted Kristoffer Näfver for Dawda Camara at halftime, while Simon Karlsson was replaced by Fadi Al Choury in the 69th minute. With only a few minutes left, Gabriel Pettersson was substituted for Ibrahim Kamil.

In the end, it was Yxhults IK who took home the victory, increasing their points in the division. Säffle SK, on the other hand, had to go back to the drawing board to prepare for their next match.
