It was a chilly Sunday afternoon at Kilsta IP when Strömtorps IK faced IFK Åmål in the decisive match of Division 3 Västra Svealand. The home team started strong and took the lead just seven minutes in with a corner goal from Alexander Karlsson Claesson. IFK Åmål fought to get back into the game, but it was Strömtorp that extended their lead with a goal from Daniel Svedjeå in the 23rd minute.

IFK Åmål tried to press on, but Strömtorp was too strong and continued to create dangerous scoring chances. The match ended 5-0 in favor of Strömtorp. Thanks to their dominant performance, Strömtorp secured the match in the first half and then controlled the game for the rest of the match. Despite a sluggish season, Strömtorps IK finished in a respectable eighth place in the table. IFK Åmål failed to save themselves from finishing last in the table when the season concluded.
