Grums IK secured an important away victory against Hertzöga BK at Ilanda IP A-plan on Wednesday evening. The match was emotionally charged despite the absence of spectators. Grums took the lead in just the second minute of the match with a header from Emil Thodal following a corner. However, Hertzöga quickly replied with a goal from Linus Persson four minutes later.

The game became more intense in the first half when Grums received a yellow card after 21 minutes when Simon Molander brought down a Hertzöga player. Hertzöga also substituted Cristian Rahmani Huerta in the 37th minute, who would prove to be an important player later in the match.

In the second half, Hertzöga took the lead with a goal from Fredrik Ekstrand after a nice counterattack in the 57th minute. But Grums did not give up and equalized ten minutes later with a lovely free kick from Simon Molander. Grums' coach made two substitutions in the 65th minute, bringing on Ismala Sambou and Abubakarr Kamara.

It was Sambou who scored the decisive goal for Grums in the 87th minute after a great collaboration with Ghaith Chikh Alchabab, who had been substituted in just a few minutes earlier. Hertzöga desperately tried to equalize, but it was too late. Grums won the match 3-2 and took home three important points to Grums.
