It was an exciting match played between Gottne IF 2 and Forsmo IF last night at Skyttis IP, in front of a crowd of only 19 people. Both teams were determined to win, resulting in a particularly intense match. Referee Andreas Eriksson and his assistants Ali Mirzaee and Axel Falk controlled the game excellently.
Gottne IF 2 started strong and took the lead in the 20th minute with a header goal from Mert Apat. Forsmo IF tried to put pressure on the home team, but the Gottne IF 2 defense held firm and managed to keep the lead until halftime.
The second half was a much more intense affair. Magnus Edmark from Gottne IF 2 received a yellow card in the 60th minute and played on a thin thread as Forsmo IF began to accelerate their play. Farhan Ali Mohamed and Sami Tekhlom from Forsmo IF both received yellow cards in the 67th and 69th minutes respectively. Magnus Edmark, who had already been cautioned earlier, received a second yellow and was sent off in the 72nd minute.
It seemed that Gottne IF 2 would hold out to claim the victory, but Forsmo IF managed to equalize in the last minute of stoppage time through Mattias Persson. The final score was 1 - 1. Both teams fought well, and it was a match worth watching. Next time, they will surely do everything to secure a victory.
