Lyckå FF had an explosive start to the match when Axel Olsson scored just ten minutes in. Märserums IF struggled to recover from the early blow and conceded another goal as Henrik Nilsson made it 2-0 after 17 minutes.

Lyckå FF continued to dominate the match and increased their lead to 3-0 following an own goal by Märserum after 34 minutes. Oskar Valdenäs then extended the lead to 4-0 with a header just before halftime.
