Match in Division 4 Blekinge, men 2023
Match start: 2023-04-21 at 18:45
Venue: Åvallen

Rödeby AIF welcomed league leaders Jämshögs IF to Åvallen in Division 4 Blekinge for a Friday evening match in front of an empty stand. The home team, Rödeby, had not had an easy season so far and was in seventh place ahead of the match, while Jämshög was at the top of the table.

The match began cautiously for both sides, but it was Rödeby who took the lead in the 39th minute through Filip Varenhed. Rödeby continued to press forward, and their efforts paid off in the 67th minute when Carl Antonsson extended Rödeby's lead to 2-0.

However, Jämshög did not give up and continued to fight hard for the rest of the match. In the 73rd minute, André Leanderson reduced the deficit to 2-1, giving Jämshög new energy. They kept chasing goals and their endeavor was rewarded in the 88th minute when Elias Perätalo scored from a free kick to equalize at 2-2.

Rödeby desperately tried to find a way to regain the lead, but Jämshög held firm, and the match ended 2-2. But the drama was not over; in the third minute of stoppage time, Meleke Murad received a warning for Rödeby AIF.

Despite Rödeby leading 2-0, Jämshög was strong enough to fight back and equalize. This result diminishes Rödebys' chances of moving up the table, while Jämshög maintains its position as league leaders. Referee Egzon Mehmeti and assistant referees Florent Shala and Hjalmar Svensson Berup had their hands full on the pitch.
