Sillhövda AIK secured an important victory in Division 4 Blekinge men's football after defeating Listerby IK 4-2 on Saturday afternoon. The match was played at Bredasjön 1 in front of an audience of zero. The referee Florent Shala officiated the match alongside assistant referees Erik Hansen Gustafsson and Madyan Alsalim.
Just one minute into the match, the home team took the lead through Albin Petersson, who redirected a corner kick into the goal. Six minutes later, Mandus Brinkehed extended the lead after slotting his shot past the Listerby goalkeeper.
Listerby did not give up and was rewarded with a goal after 15 minutes by Robin Andersson. Just nine minutes later, Per Karlsson equalized to 2-2 for the visitors, which was also the score at halftime.
The second half became more physical, and Listerby received two yellow cards through Dennis Törnström and Mohammad Zia Paienda. However, it was Sillhövda who proved to be stronger towards the end of the match. In the 75th minute, Emanuel Moberg Håkansson reclaimed the lead for Sillhövda with a beautiful lob over the goalkeeper. Simon Israelsson then sealed the final score at 4-2 during stoppage time after a nice counterattack.
Sillhövda AIK now leads the table, while Listerby IK is in 7th place.
