It was a hot Wednesday evening at Strömsvallen Artificial Turf Field when IFK Strömstad faced IK Rössö Utv-lag in a Division 4 Bohuslän match among women. Unfortunately, there were no spectators present to experience the match, but that did not stop the away team from showcasing their dominance on the field. Clara Bengtsson then scored after 26 minutes, and IK Rössö Utv-lag led 0-4. The home team then began to try to come back and created a couple of dangerous chances forward.
After half an hour of play, Julia Molin received a warning from the referee after a tough tackle on an opponent. The minutes passed, and IK Rössö Utv-lag continued to dominate. After 60 minutes, Ajla Omicevic scored her first goal of the evening, increasing the lead to 0-5. Two late goals from Omicevic and Berneland pushed IK Rössö Utv-lag’s lead to 0-7.
IFK Strömstad finally got their long-awaited goal after 87 minutes. Cindra Nilsson scored a quick puck that the IK Rössö Utv-lag goalkeeper couldn't keep up with. Despite the goal, it was still overwhelmingly IK Rössö Utv-lag that emerged victorious with the final score of 1-7. The home team will now have to regroup and try to get back on the winning track.
