It was a chilly Monday evening at Gustavsberg's field when IK Rössö Utv team and Vallens IF 2 met in an important match in Division 4 Bohuslän for women. Despite the low attendance of only 23 people, including a few loyal supporters from both teams, the atmosphere was high and expectations were elevated on both sides.
The match began with an early goal from the home team IK Rössö Utv when Lisa Mäsak shot the ball into the net. However, it didn't take long for Vallens IF 2 to equalize, as Hanna Ryberg scored her first of three goals in the match. Shortly thereafter, Malin Larsson added another goal for the visiting Vallens IF 2, and the team continued to dominate for the rest of the match.
After 21 minutes, Ellen Hedberg scored a third goal for Vallens IF 2, followed by two more goals from Kristin Täck and Hanna Ryberg. Before halftime, Frida Olander also managed to score for Vallens IF 2, giving the team an impressive lead of 6-1 at the break.
The second half didn't get any better for IK Rössö Utv, and just a few minutes in, Hanna Ryberg scored her third goal of the match, marking the second goal in a row for Vallens IF 2. Unfortunately, the home team also received a red card when Vendela Bäckström was forced to leave the field after 52 minutes.
Following this, Vallens IF 2 was awarded a penalty, which Tyra Isaksson converted into a goal, before Frida Olander managed to score her second goal and the team's tenth of the match. Despite an own goal from Vallens IF 2 in the final minutes, the team won an overwhelming victory with a score of 10-2 against a frustrated IK Rössö Utv.
It was an impressive performance from Vallens IF 2, and their players can be proud of showcasing such a fantastic display away from home. For IK Rössö Utv, there is much to take away from this match, but hopefully, they can use it as motivation to improve their game in the upcoming matches.
