On a sunny Monday evening at Skarsjövallen, Ljungskile SK Women's Development Team faced Vallens IF 2 in an exciting match in Division 4 Bohuslän, women’s league. The attendance wasn’t the highest, with only 40 people in the stands, but those who were there were treated to a goal-filled affair.
Referee Jessica Andersson blew the whistle to start the match, and already in the 16th minute, the home team took the lead through Ida Stolt Hermansson who scored to make it 1-0. Just two minutes later, Lisa Henriksson doubled Ljungskile's lead to 2-0. However, Hermansson was not satisfied with just one goal and extended the lead to 3-0 in the 20th minute.
Goals continued to flow for Ljungskile during the first half, with Felicia Hallberg and Amanda Gustavsson also getting on the scoresheet. Vallens IF 2 struggled to keep up, and in the 35th minute, Agnes Hesselroth received a warning.
In the second half, Ljungskile’s goal fest continued. Wilma Wester scored two goals for the home team, bringing the match to 8-0. Frida Lund and Alice Jensen also contributed to the goal tally, and when the final whistle blew, the score stood at 10-0 in favor of Ljungskile SK Women's Development Team.
After the final whistle, it was clear that Vallens IF 2 had a tough evening on the pitch and faced a hefty defeat by ten goals. Despite the loss, Vallens finished in a respectable second place in the league standings.
