Avesta AIK and Korsnäs IF FK U met at Avestavallen Artificial Turf in front of an audience of 50 in a highly anticipated match in Division 4 Dalarna. Referee San Michael, along with assistant referees Ilir Bara and Anna Nyberg, officiated the game that evening.
Already in the 19th minute, Avesta AIK broke the deadlock on the field with a beautiful goal by Hugo Sjögren, which allowed the home team to take the lead at 1-0. Korsnäs IF FK U tried to find their way back into the match but struggled to create dangerous chances. In the 39th minute, Emil Hedin received a warning for the away team after a tough tackle.
Avesta AIK continued to dominate the match and in the 40th minute, Adam Tumma extended the lead to 2-0 with a fine finish. In the 70th minute, Jack Franzén Olsson made it 3-0, giving the home team a comfortable lead. Three minutes later, Philip Bergstrand scored to make it 4-0 for Avesta AIK, and the match was practically decided.
In the 91st minute, Mohammed Abbas sealed the deal by scoring 5-0. Avesta AIK was clearly the better team that evening and was able to secure a convincing victory. Korsnäs IF FK U returned home without any points and will need to regroup for upcoming matches in an effort to climb the table.
