Avestavallen artificial turf was filled with eager spectators as Avesta AIK faced IFK Mora FK in an exciting match in Division 4 Dalarna, men's league. Referee Andreas Wiklander blew the whistle to start the match on Saturday afternoon, and it was Avesta AIK who took the lead already in the sixth minute when Ludwig Wallertz scored to make it 1-0.
After a period of back-and-forth play and some dangerous chances for both sides, it was Noel Hildensjö who received a warning for Avesta AIK in the 24th minute. IFK Mora FK then fought back, and in the 40th minute, Arvid Jerkgård equalized for the visitors.
However, the joy was short-lived for Mora as Avesta AIK responded quickly. Just before halftime, Hugo Sjögren scored to make it 2-1, putting the home team back in the lead.

Avesta AIK continued to play well, and there was no doubt which team was stronger on the pitch. Jakob Svedlund made a beautiful strike to make it 4-2 in the 72nd minute. But Mora kept fighting, and Hampus Lindén reduced the deficit to 4-3 in the 78th minute. Adam Dahlqvist received a warning for Mora in the 85th minute, and Simon Tella received a warning for Avesta AIK in the 89th minute.
Then an unexpected event occurred when IFK Mora's coach Goran Cuckovic was sent off the bench. Despite IFK Mora's hard work in the closing moments of the match, Avesta AIK managed to hold on and secure an important 4-3 victory at home. A crucial win for Avesta AIK and a disappointment for IFK Mora FK.
