It was an exciting match at Åvallen when Nyhammars IF A faced Avesta AIK in Division 4 Dalarna. Despite it being a Thursday evening with no spectators in the stands, both teams seemed ready to give it their all. The heat was palpable and the sun shone on the players as referee Diako Abdulaziz blew the whistle to start the match at 19:00.

In the 10th minute, the home team took the lead through Daniel Eriksson, who shot the ball past Avesta AIK’s goalkeeper and into the net. The players and coach of Nyhammars IF celebrated while Avesta AIK's players began to fight to get back into the game.

After a tight first half and with only a few minutes left before halftime, a penalty was awarded following a controversial situation in Nyhammars IF’s penalty area. Kevin Sahindal from Avesta AIK took responsibility and scored, bringing the score to 1-1 just before the referee blew for halftime.

The second half started with continued high tempo, but it was Avesta AIK who proved to be stronger than the home team. In the 59th minute, Sahindal scored his second goal, which became the match-winner, leading Avesta AIK to a 2-1 victory.

Nyhammars IF's attempts to get back into the match were hampered by the sending off of Elias Daun in the 45th minute, and the team’s frustration was expressed through yellow cards given to Marcus Jakobsson and Simon Hirsch, the assistant coach, in the 67th and 81st minutes respectively.

Avesta AIK’s Rasmus Lindgren also received a yellow card in the 70th minute, and Taher Mahmoud Saleh from the same team was cautioned in the 90th minute as the match drew to a close.
