Avesta AIK demonstrated this evening that they are a tough contender in Division 4 Dalarna, as they completely crushed the visiting team Slätta SK A with a score of 7-1 at Avestavallen artificial turf. Kevin Sahindal was the man who started the scoring for the home team when he scored his first goal in the 18th minute. Ludwig Wallertz followed up with a goal in the 24th minute. Jack Franzén Olsson extended the lead to 3-0 in the 35th minute. Björn Lindgren from Slätta SK A received a warning in the 36th minute for a hard tackle, which led to Kevin Sahindal drawing a penalty in the 64th minute, although this was missed.
However, Avesta AIK were too strong for the visiting team and continued to dominate the match with goals from Albert Orre in the 65th minute, Taher Mahmoud Saleh in the 74th minute, and an own goal from Slätta's Linus Kaps in the 76th minute. Linus Kaps from Slätta SK A managed to score a consolation goal in the 76th minute through a penalty.
The match was dominated by Avesta AIK, forcing Slätta SK A to try to play defensively while the home team created several goal opportunities. Despite the visiting team scoring a well-executed penalty, it was Avesta who were the stronger team and deserved the victory. The win sends Avesta AIK to second place in the table while Slätta SK A remains in tenth place.
