On Sunday afternoon, IK Virgo played against Donsö IS at Mossens IP, in front of an audience of zero people. Aside from a fan that was diligently working on the benches, it was quiet at the venue when the match started at 16:15. Referee Unsal Yücel and his assistant referees, Sadi Atay and Victor Marin, were ready to officiate the match in Division 4 Göteborg A, women.
The match began with a high tempo as both teams tried to gain control of the ball and position themselves on the field. Donsö IS took an early hold of the game and had a few good chances to score. However, IK Virgo's goalkeeper, Sara Andersson, stood firm and blocked all attempts. IK Virgo tried to find an opening in the defense but were thwarted by Donsö's reliable defense.

Unfortunately, the shot went wide of the goal, and the match ended in a draw, 0 - 0.
It was a tough match that remained goalless until the end, but both teams can take away a good feeling from having played strongly and without losing concentration. The referee and assistants did a great job keeping the match well under control. Now both teams are geared up for their next match, and we look forward to a similar performance.
