Älvängens IK hosted Lerums IS (U) at home in Division 4 Göteborg B for women. Despite the absence of spectators due to corona restrictions, both teams provided an entertaining match. Referee Martin Delmoro was assisted by assistant referees Nasir Muhammud and Enes Gashi to keep an eye on the game.

The match started with high intensity from both teams, but it was the visiting Lerums IS that took the lead after 22 minutes of play. Tove Remper was able to finish off a nice attack and put the ball in the net behind Älvängen's goalkeeper.

However, Älvängens IK did not let themselves be discouraged and fought their way back into the match. After 37 minutes of play, Mathilda Niklasson equalized for the home team after a nice pass from Sofia Larson. Before the halftime break, Älvängens IK managed to take the lead as well, with Sofia Larson scoring her first goal of the evening in the 41st minute.

The second half began like the first, with intense play from both teams. But it was Älvängens IK that would come out stronger after the break. After 59 minutes of play, Vilma Winberg extended the lead for the home team after a good setup from her teammates.

Amanda Gustavsson proved to be in great goal-scoring form, as she scored both in the 64th minute and again in the 79th minute. Both goals were well-placed shots from distance that gave the Lerums goalkeeper no chance.

The match ended 6-1 after Johanna Kamp Larsson also scored from a free kick in the 89th minute. Älvängens IK thus secured a much-needed victory and three important points as they continue the season. Lerums IS (U) can take some good aspects from the match and continue to work on their game in preparation for their upcoming matches.
