An exciting match between Älvängens IK and IK Zenith (B) took place on Friday evening at Älvevi 2 Artificial Turf. Although the attendance was zero, the match was highly interesting as both teams fought to win the game in Division 4 Gothenburg B, women.
It was Älvängens Vilma Winberg who put the first goal on the scoreboard in the 10th minute. After a good play setup by the home team, Winberg was able to put the ball in the net and give her team a 1-0 lead.
IK Zenith (B) pressed hard to equalize, but Älvängen's defense held strong and maintained the clean sheet until the final whistle. However, Winberg received a yellow card after a tough challenge in the 36th minute.
Referee Nijaz Nuhic and assistant referees Almedin Babacic and Tindra Frejinger had full control of the match and kept a close eye on the fiercely competing teams.
Älvängen ended up as the winners, thanks to Vilma Winberg's goal and a strong defensive effort against IK Zenith (B), who did everything they could to equalize but without success.
