This year's second home match was played on Apelsinplan 2 Artificial Turf, where Önnereds IK faced IK Virgo in Division 4 Göteborg B. Despite a strong start from the home team, it was the visitors who took the lead after fifteen minutes of play. Calle Ekdahl was able to precisely shoot a goal past the Önnered goalkeeper.
After the goal, the guests continued to be the stronger team and were able to extend their lead before the halftime break. Once again, it was Calle Ekdahl who managed to put the ball in the net, making it 0-2 for IK Virgo.
However, it would not be an easy match for the away team. Within a few minutes, their physiotherapist, Lars Ahlqvist, was sent off after a situation on the sidelines. Additionally, he received a warning from the referee.
With ten minutes left in the match, the home team was able to reduce the deficit thanks to a fine effort from Ariyan Izadi Amin Abadi. But Önnereds IK failed to equalize, and the match ended 1-2 in favor of IK Virgo.
Mattias Wikström, number 4 for Önnereds IK, received a warning at the end of the match after a tough challenge.
The modest attendance of 30 people witnessed an entertaining match with several goals and an exciting finish. The referee for the evening, Stefan Andrade, was assisted by linesmen Hussein Younes and Garod Kirakos.
