On this Thursday evening at Mossens IP 1 Grass, it was time for the important match between IK Virgo and Balltorps FF in Division 4 Gothenburg B for men. Despite the absence of spectators from the stands, the referee team consisting of Samir Nuefendic, Muamer Jusic, and Enis Bourbia was ready to officiate the match.
It didn’t take long for IK Virgo to take the lead. In the fourth minute, Calle Ekdahl scored a goal and lifted the atmosphere on the field. Balltorps FF made a strong effort to equalize, and Amar Kurspahić received a yellow card in the 39th minute for his efforts.
The second half was as intense as the first. IK Virgo really tried to extend their lead, but the yellow cards just kept piling up, with Anders Gonzalez Cataldo receiving one in the 49th minute.
With 12 minutes left to play, it was now Balltorps FF's chance to come back. Rickard Amidani scored in the 78th minute, putting pressure on IK Virgo. Shortly after, Martin Schölin scored another goal for Balltorps FF, taking the lead 2-1.
Despite this, IK Virgo did not give up hope. In the 89th minute, Martin Hulterström managed to score a final goal, equalizing for his club. The match ended in a tie, 2-2.
