On a desolate Wednesday evening in Division 4 Gothenburg B, the home team IFK Björkö faced the league leaders IF Väster at Björkö 1 Grass. The attendance was zero, but both teams were eager to show what they were made of.
IF Väster dominated initially, and it didn’t take long before Arvid Liljedahl scored the opening goal of the match in the eighth minute, giving the away team a 1-0 lead. However, IFK Björkö did not let themselves be discouraged and quickly responded when Theo Kornbakk equalized in the twelfth minute.
But IF Väster had no plans to share the points, and Arijan Stovrag scored just five minutes later to regain the lead. Unfortunately for IFK Björkö, they then found themselves conceding an own goal in the 25th minute, allowing IF Väster to go up 3-1.

Theo Kornbakk managed to score his second goal of the match, and IFK Björkö began to hope for a possible turnaround. However, Felix Hermansson from IF Väster extended the lead to a solid 4-2 shortly before halftime.
The second half began with a warning for Alec Tunstad from IFK Björkö and a tough struggle for the home team as they attempted to break through IF Väster's defense. Despite continued attempts from IFK Björkö, they couldn't find the net again, and instead, IF Väster's Felix Hermansson scored his second goal of the match, increasing the lead to 5-2 in the 84th minute.
IFK Björkö was still hoping for a possible comeback but were instead dealt another blow when Jens Johnsson, their equipment manager, was sent off just minutes before David Olsson from IF Väster scored the final goal of the match, resulting in a 6-2 victory for the guests.
IF Väster remains at the top of the table while IFK Björkö has to settle for seventh place.
