Dalhem IF faced a tough challenge when they met FC Gute B at home on Wednesday evening. With only 15 spectators in attendance and Ola Bröms as the referee, the match began at Dalhem IP.
FC Gute B set the tone early when Isak Ahl Holmström scored the opening goal after just one minute. Philip Leal then extended the lead with another goal for the away team, which dampened the atmosphere at home considerably.
FC Gute B continued to dominate, and it didn’t take long before Isak Ahl Holmström placed the ball behind Dalhem IF’s goalkeeper again, making it 0-3 for the away team after 16 minutes.
The second half started without any major changes in the flow of the game, but in the 71st minute, Mingus Eriksson scored another goal for FC Gute B, extending the lead to 0-4. Shortly afterwards, Melvin Gustafsson received a yellow card for the home team.
However, it wasn’t just FC Gute B who scored; Dalhem IF also contributed with an own goal, putting them under significant pressure as the match headed into its final stages. Mingus Eriksson and Philip Leal then followed up with one goal each, increasing the away team's lead to 0-6 and 0-7 with just a few minutes left in the match.
Dalhem IF’s Henrik Ramberg then received a yellow card, and Philip Leal completed his hat trick by scoring the away team’s eighth goal of the evening. Mohanad Mostafa Abdel Ghafar capped off the match by scoring in injury time, bringing the final score to 0-9 in favor of FC Gute B.
This was a fantastic victory for FC Gute B, who continue to push for the top of the table. For Dalhem IF, it’s a heavy defeat, and they will have to keep fighting at the bottom of the table. Referee Ola Bröms did a great job alongside assistant referees Daniel Lilja and Gustav Hansson.
