It was a match that offered plenty of excitement as FC Gute B hosted Fårösund GoIK on the Säve artificial grass. The crowd, which consisted of 48 people, witnessed a motivated FC Gute B that went for victory from the very start. However, it was the visiting team that took the lead already in the 20th minute after Gustav Widgren's free kick found its way into the far corner.
FC Gute B continued to push for an equalizer, but their attempts were thwarted by Fårösund's defense, which held firm. Instead, it was Markus von Corswant who unleashed a long-range shot in the 35th minute, extending the visitors' lead to 2-0.
FC Gute B kept trying, while Fårösund GoIK maintained their patience and held out. In the 39th minute, however, the third goal came, this time from Lamin Gassama, who with a nice touch rounded the goalkeeper and rolled the ball into the empty net.
The second half was a more tightly contested affair. FC Gute B struggled to find their rhythm, while Fårösund GoIK defended and counterattacked on either side of the pitch. The match had a tough physical nature, with several yellow cards issued to both teams. In the end, the final score was 0-3 in favor of Fårösund GoIK, who thus caught up with FC Gute B in the standings.
The match referee Teddy Larsson managed the game well and was assisted by Jesper Romin and Benjamin Bingström. It was a well-played and tough Division 4 match on Gotland.
