On Wednesday evening, an exciting match took place at Getinge IP 1 when the home team Getinge/Slöinge faced FC Lagan in Division 4 Halland for women. Despite there being no spectators present, there was a wonderful atmosphere at the venue as the match kicked off at 19:00, officiated by referee Ola Andersson.
Just five minutes into the first half, the home team got off to a dream start when Felicia Andersson put Getinge/Slöinge ahead with a score of 1-0. The team continued to press on, and ten minutes later, Camilla Christiansson doubled the lead to 2-0 with a goal that had the fans cheering.
FC Lagan tried to get into the match and create chances, but Getinge/Slöinge stood strong in defense and kept the visitors at bay. In the second half, FC Lagan began to increase the pace, and after 56 minutes they were rewarded when Ebba Olausson reduced the score to 2-1.
Despite several dangerous attacks from both teams, neither was able to score again, and the match concluded with a victory for the home team Getinge/Slöinge at 2-1.
