On Wednesday evening, Mockfjärds BK and Färnäs SK met at Mockfjärds IP in an exciting match in Division 4 Northern Dalarna for women. Despite no spectators being present due to the prevailing circumstances, it was a thrilling match at stake. Referee Ewasali Ahmadi controlled the game throughout.
Right from the start of the match, we saw two warnings for Mockfjärds BK, with both Linda Holman and Emma Olsson receiving a reprimand from the referee. It would turn out that it was not going to be their night.
In the second minute, however, Mockfjärds BK managed to score an early goal, albeit at Färnäs SK's expense. An own goal gave the home team a 1-0 lead.
Färnäs SK, however, was not satisfied with that and ten minutes later, Ida Arvidsson equalized for the away team, making it 1-1.
The match was evenly contested, and with eight minutes remaining, Färnäs SK was awarded a penalty. Erika Gummås took responsibility and put the ball in the net, putting Färnäs SK ahead 2-1.
Despite Mockfjärds BK's efforts to push for an equalizer, they never managed to catch up to Färnäs SK. The match ended 1-2 in favor of Färnäs SK, who took three important points back home.
