It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon when Blåsmarks SK and Notvikens IK faced each other at Blåsvallens IP in Division 4 Norrbotten for women. The match attracted 21 enthusiastic supporters, and the referee Victor Andersson officiated, assisted by Jenny Nilsson and Lisa Seibicke Rova.
The match started at a high tempo, and it was the visiting Notvikens IK who took control early on. Just 8 minutes in, they struck with a header from Ulrika Kieri, taking a 1-0 lead. Blåsmarks SK tried to respond, but Notvikens continued to dominate the match, and just 16 minutes later, Kieri scored her second goal, extending the lead to 2-0.
Notvikens IK kept the pressure on the home team, and Jenny Öhman scored twice within just a few minutes, giving Notvikens IK a comfortable lead of 4-0 after only 32 minutes. Blåsmarks SK finally found the net in the first half when Anna Sara Olsen scored a consolation goal in the 49th minute, but there was little that could disrupt Notvikens' march to victory.
In the second half, Notvikens IK continued to dominate, and Cajsa Sundström increased the lead to 5-1 with a free-kick goal in the 58th minute. A hat trick was also on the cards for Ulrika Kieri, but her third goal was ruled out for offside. Instead, it was Camilla Sundberg Thurfjell who scored the sixth goal in the 69th minute.
Despite a few chances for both teams, the match ended 1-6 in favor of Notvikens IK. The final result meant that they finished in second place in the table at the end of the season.
It was a well-played match by Notvikens, who controlled the game from start to finish and demonstrated why they are a top team in the division. Blåsmarks SK made valiant attempts but could not match Notvikens' strong offense. A well-deserved victory for the visiting team.
