Lira BK 2 achieved a convincing home victory against IFK Arvidsjaur FK at Porsö IP in Division 4 Norrbotten, ladies. Already in the eighth minute of the match, the home team took the lead when Lisa Pudas pushed the ball into the net after a nice attack. Lira had several opportunities to score again, but the IFK defenders and goalkeeper managed to keep the score down until halftime.
However, it didn’t take long after the break before Lira's Edith Savilahti Nygren could extend the lead with a quick free-kick goal in the 31st minute. IFK Arvidsjaur continued to fight back and was able to reduce the deficit in the 48th minute through Tyra Svanberg, who put the ball in the net after a nice cross from the wing.
Lira, however, kept their heads up and continued to attack. In the 75th minute, Ella Furmark Huuva stepped up and scored from a good cross from the left side. Just five minutes later, Lira extended their lead once again when Edith Savilahti Nygren scored her second goal of the day.
IFK Arvidsjaur tried to make a comeback, but Lira’s defense held firm, and the match ended 4-1 in favor of the home team. A well-played match by Lira BK 2 and a disappointed IFK Arvidsjaur FK, who, despite having the upper hand in play, failed to capitalize in the crucial moments.
