It was an exciting match played between Lira BK 2 and Sävast AIF on Wednesday evening at Porsö IP. In front of an audience of 61 people and under the leadership of referee Erik Henriksson and his assistants Elin Brusén and Mirvan Nassan, it seemed like it would be a close match from the start.
However, it was Sävast AIF that took the lead after a penalty kick, which Erika Claesson easily put into the net in the 45th minute, making it 1-0 to Sävast AIF. After several attempts by Lira BK 2 to find an equalizer, it was instead Sävast AIF that extended their lead in the 59th minute, once again through a goal by Erika Claesson, making it 2-0 for Sävast AIF.
Lira BK 2 fought hard but could not find a way forward, and instead, Sävast AIF continued to press and find goals. In the 70th minute, Malin Adling increased the lead to 3-0 for Sävast AIF, and just four minutes later, in the 74th minute, she scored another goal, making it 4-0 for the visiting team.
The match ended 0-4 in favor of Sävast AIF, who now take home three important points. It was a well-played match from both teams, and Sävast AIF was clearly the better team on the field that evening. Lira BK 2 will return and hope for a better performance in the next match.
