At Hifton, Hemmingsmarks IF and Bergnäsets AIK 2 provided an exciting match in Division 4 Norrbotten South for men. Simon Wallin of Hemmingsmarks IF opened the scoring after 14 minutes, and just three minutes later, it was John Myrestam's turn to find the net, making it 2-0. Hemmingsmarks IF continued to dominate the match, and at halftime, the score was 3-0 for the home team after a penalty converted by Peter Berglund.
In the second half, Bergnäsets AIK 2 came to life and began fighting to catch up. Isak Johansson reduced the deficit for the away team just before the break, and after only two minutes of play in the second half, Fredrik Vallgren scored to make it 3-2. However, the joy for Bergnäsets AIK 2 was short-lived as Linus Lindgren received a red card and was sent off in the 50th minute.
Despite playing with one less man, Bergnäsets AIK 2 continued to battle, and Isac Ögren equalized to 3-3 after a fine team effort. The match was intense, and the players’ fighting spirit led to several warnings, with three yellow cards issued to Hemmingsmarks IF players in the final minutes.
However, it was Hemmingsmarks IF that came out on top as John Myrestam scored his second goal of the day, deciding the match at 4-3 for the home team. Thus, Hemmingsmarks IF finished in fifth place in the standings, while Bergnäsets AIK 2 won the league. Despite the loss, Bergnäsets AIK 2 can be satisfied with their performance this season.
