Adolfsbergs IK quickly took the lead in the match against GSBK at Lugnets IP Artificial Turf in Monday night's Division 4 Örebro, women's match. Just three minutes in, Karolina Hammarström received the ball and scored 1-0 for the home team. Adolfsbergs continued to press, and just three minutes later, the next goal came, this time from Ester Gustafsson. After twenty minutes of play, it was Joline Andersson's turn to shine, shooting in 3-0 for Adolfsbergs IK.
However, GSBK did not let the opposition break them. Julia Durnell managed to reduce the deficit for the away team after 25 minutes of play. GSBK continued to fight back, and after 34 minutes, Levina Åkerberg scored another goal for the guests. Just four minutes later, Lisa Tengelin equalized to make it 3-3 for GSBK. With one minute left in the first half, Julia Gustafsson made it 3-4 for GSBK.
The second half became a much more even contest with many chances for both teams. After 64 minutes, however, Adolfsbergs IK managed to score again through Filippa Rommerud, equalizing the game at 4-4. The away team had several opportunities to decide the match, but no more goals were scored. GSBK also earned a penalty at the end of the match, but Julia Gustafsson missed it, and the match ended 4-4.
Despite being an entertaining match with eight goals and exciting moments, neither team could claim victory. The match is therefore considered a fair draw.
