At the Fastighetsteknik Arena, IK Sleipner B faced off against Lindö FF B in an exciting match in Division 4 Östergötland East for women. Despite it being a Wednesday evening, there was no audience present to cheer on the teams. The referee for the evening was Mahad Cabdulahi Ahmed.
The match started intensely, and just two minutes in, Lindö FF B scored their first goal through Anna Malm. IK Sleipner B quickly responded with a goal from Sophia Touma in the fourteenth minute, making the score 1-1. However, Lindö FF B continued to push, and after five minutes, the score was 0-2 for the away team, thanks to a goal from Alice Lövbom. Linnéa Jaktfalk then extended Lindö FF B's lead with her goal in the tenth minute.
IK Sleipner B worked hard and managed to reduce the score to 1-3 after nine minutes when Olivia Kolsgård found the back of the net. Unfortunately for the home team, their defense couldn't hold firm, and Lindö FF B kept scoring. Linnéa Jaktfalk scored her second goal of the match in the 27th minute, making it 1-4 for the away team.
The second half was a more even affair, and Sirina Aloch managed to score again for IK Sleipner B after an hour of play. But Lindö FF B responded again in the 64th minute when Ena Atlagic scored. IK Sleipner B continued to fight, and after eighty-eight minutes, they managed to reduce the score once more. However, it was too late, and Anna Malm scored the final goal for Lindö FF B in the eighty-eighth minute, which set the final score at 3-6 in favor of the away team.
An impressive performance by Lindö FF B, who managed to keep the pace up throughout the match and returned home with three points. IK Sleipner B will need to return to the training field and keep working in preparation for their next match.
