Kuddby IF didn't stop there but continued to pressure Saltängens BK, and in the 42nd minute, Moa Gustavsson extended the lead to 2-0 for the away team. Saltängens BK created a few chances, but it was Kuddby IF who continued to score the goals. However, just before halftime, Saltängens BK got a lifeline when Nora Helgstrand managed to reduce the score to 2-1, giving the home team a chance to hope for a comeback.
The second half started with Saltängens BK having found their fighting spirit; just four minutes into the half, Josefin Skoglund equalized to 2-2 for the home team. But the joy didn’t last long; in the 68th minute, Kuddby IF scored their third goal through Isabelle Erlandsson, who slowly but surely began to show her quality on the field. Shortly thereafter, something special happened: Isabelle completed her hat trick with two more goals in just two minutes, showcasing her skill as a forward. Kuddby IF's dominance continued, and the visitors managed to score another two goals through Erlandsson and right-back Gustavsson, leading to an 8-2 scoreline in the 83rd minute.
With just a few minutes left, Chahrazad Danielsson Benachir scored her first goal of the season, meaning the match ended 3-8. Saltängens BK fought valiantly, but Kuddby IF was the better team, and with their new superstar Erlandsson scoring five of the goals, there was no doubt about which of the two was the stronger team. With this victory, Kuddby IF secures their second win of the season and climbs to second place in the table.
