At Kolmården's IP, Krokeks IF faced Saltängens BK in an exciting match in Division 4 Östergötland East for men. 117 spectators had made their way to the arena to see which team would come out victorious. The referee team consisted of Ferat Kartal as the main referee and Marcus Konac and Jakob Joseph as assistant referees.
The match started with a high tempo from both teams, but it was Krokeks IF that took the lead in the sixth minute when Alvin Henriksson scored, putting the team ahead 1-0. However, Saltängens BK showed their fighting spirit and managed to equalize just twelve minutes later when Tobias Olsson found the net, making the score 1-1.
Krokeks IF, however, did not let this temporary setback discourage them and continued to fight, regaining the lead just one minute after Saltängens goal when Lukas Burman scored, making it 2-1 for the home team. Yet, Saltängens threw everything into their offense and 21 minutes into the match, they managed to equalize again when Victor Stridh scored, bringing the score to 2-2.
The second half began with the same high tempo as the first, and it was Krokeks IF that managed to take the lead once more in the 56th minute when Marcus Liljedahl scored, extending Krokeks’ lead to 3-2. Saltängens fought hard to catch up and equalize yet again, but could not find the back of the net.
Just before the end of the match, Krokeks IF was awarded a penalty, and Jonatan Malm stepped up, putting the ball in the net and increasing Krokeks' lead to 4-2, which also became the final score of the match.
When the match was over, we saw that Krokeks IF ended up in 3rd place in the table while Saltängens BK placed 8th. It was a well-played match where both teams did their very best to secure points, but it was Krokeks IF that celebrated the victory after the match.
