On Tuesday evening, Mantorps FF faced off against Hjulsbro IK B at Klämmestorps IP in a match in Division 4 Östergötland West for women. Despite the absence of spectators, it was an exciting match to follow with many impressive performances from Hjulsbro IK B.
Already in the fifth minute, Hjulsbro took the lead with a goal from Evelina Isik, which proved to be the starting pistol for an impressive victory. Minea Nyberg then delivered an outstanding performance, increasing Hjulsbro's lead to 2-0 in the 24th minute. Hjulsbro continued to dominate the match and extended their lead with goals from Linn Bäckvall and Ea Wessén in the 31st and 33rd minutes.
The second half continued in the same vein as the first half, with Klara Lindh scoring Hjulsbro's fifth goal in the 53rd minute, and just two minutes later, Lovisa Gällerdal increased their lead to an impressive 6-0. Mantorps FF struggled to generate any good attacking play and faced fierce resistance from Hjulsbro's solid defense.
Despite Hjulsbro's dominance, Mantorps FF looked set to score a consolation goal in the 84th minute, but unfortunately, it turned into an own goal, and the match ended with a score of 6-1 in favor of Hjulsbro IK B. The referee, Albert Lindgren, managed to keep the game fully under control throughout the match. Overall, it was a fantastic and impressive performance by Hjulsbro IK B.
