On Sunday afternoon, a match was played at Hellgrenshagen between Malmslätts AIK and Hjulsbro IK in Division 4 Östergötland West. 166 people attended the arena to watch the match live. The referee for the day was Enver Cejvan, assisted by Rickard Karlsson and Johnny Bojestig.

The visiting team, Hjulsbro IK, started the match in the best possible way and took the lead after just five minutes with a header from Emil Andersson. Seven minutes later, Albin Säf doubled the lead with another header, bringing the score to 0-2 in favor of the visitors. Before halftime, Hjulsbro IK managed to extend their lead twice more, through Albin Säf and Emil Sanfridsson, thus leading 0-4.

Malmslätts AIK tried to come back into the match and created a few chances, but it wasn't until the 73rd minute that Emil Hedberg could reduce the score to 1-4. Six minutes later, Max Kron took advantage of a penalty kick and put the ball in the net to make it 2-4. Malmslätts AIK began to believe in a miraculous comeback, but that thought was quickly crushed when Hussein Al-Hamed made it 5-2 for the visitors in the 81st minute. Shortly thereafter, Kevin Eskilson sealed the final score at 6-2 for Hjulsbro IK.

Hjulsbro IK was clearly the better team that afternoon and won the match decisively. Malmslätts AIK simply has to go home and try to improve their game for the next match.
