At a well-attended Grebovallen, the match began as expected with high intensity from both teams. However, it was the home team Grebo IK that took the lead after 20 minutes through Filip Henriksson, who skillfully placed the ball into the net. Grebo continued to dominate the match and just two minutes later it was time again, this time through Axel Frank, who increased the lead to 2-0 with a cool finish.
Sturefors IF struggled to get into the game and could not create any dangerous chances. Instead, it was a tough first half for the guests as Oscar Jacobson received a yellow card and just a few minutes later, Linus Skarin was sent off after pulling down a Grebo player in the penalty area.
The second half started just like the first ended, with a dominating Grebo IK. Jacob Wenner extended the lead after just one minute of play, and Grebo continued to attack. Axel Frank struck again after an hour of play, making it 4-0, while Wenner scored his second goal of the match and Grebo's fifth goal after 80 minutes.
Grebo IK continued to play well for the rest of the match and created chances all the way to the final whistle. With a score of 5-0, there was no doubt which team would take home the victory on their home ground. A convincing win for Grebo IK, who now solidify their place at the top of the table.
