It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at Bjurfors IP when Sturefors IF hosted AC Studenterna in the fourth division Östergötland West. Without any spectators present, but with the referee team of Rickard Karlsson, Mohamed Hassan Mohamed, and Mohamed Abdi Mohamed on the field, it was time for kickoff.
It didn’t take long for AC Studenterna to take the lead. In the 15th minute, Erik Eichmüller sent the ball into the net, making it 0-1 for the away team. Just three minutes later, Vidar Engström increased the lead to 0-2 for AC Studenterna.
Sturefors IF tried to get back into the match, but it was AC Studenterna who had everything under control. Just before halftime, in the 31st minute, Alvin Lööf scored the third goal for the away team with a fantastic shot.
The first half was tough with several yellow cards, including one for Alvin Lööf of AC Studenterna and another for Alexander Sjöström of Sturefors IF.
The second half was much more balanced, and Sturefors IF began to press on to find the net. They finally got their chance when Alexandre Wegmann Hachette scored a beautiful goal in the 66th minute, reducing the score to 1-3. However, it wasn’t enough to catch up with AC Studenterna, and the match ended with a 1-3 victory for the away team.
With this result, the season concluded, and Sturefors IF finished in 8th place in the table, while AC Studenterna maintained their 5th place. A strong victory for AC Studenterna and a tough end for Sturefors IF.
