It was a tough match at Finja IP when Finja IF hosted Vanneberga IF in Division 4 Skåne Nordöstra for women. Despite an energetic start from both teams, it was the visiting team that took the lead already in the first minute when Hanna Tegeborn shot the ball into the net behind Finja's goalkeeper.
The opponents continued to extend their lead in the second half. In the 66th minute, Ebba Möllerstedt increased Vanneberga's lead, which made the home crowd lose hope for a victory. When Frida Söderberg then scored the third goal in the 74th minute, the match was practically decided. Despite Finja's attempts to reduce the score, they were unable to get a goal.
This was a dark day for Finja IF and the home crowd, and frustration was evident when Nilla Cervin Olsson received a yellow card in the 80th minute. Vanneberga IF could, however, celebrate a well-deserved victory and head home with three points in the bag.
