It was an exciting match at Borgeby IP A-plan when Bjärreds IF hosted Fortuna FF in Division 4 Skåne Nordvästra. Despite a small crowd of only 30 people, the teams put on an entertaining match.
Referee Erenik Kaliqani kept control and maintained order from the first to the last minute. Already in the 40th minute, the first warning of the match was issued when Fortuna FF’s Oskar Nilsson received a yellow card.
It wasn’t until the 72nd minute that the first goal came, and it was the home team, Bjärreds IF, that took the lead. Kalle Wickman scored a beautiful free-kick goal, making it 1-0 for Bjärreds.
In the 85th minute, Bjärreds extended their lead when Joey Fransson found the net, making it 2-0. Fortuna FF struggled to get back into the match, and frustration grew within the team.
In the 90th minute, Fortuna FF’s Filip Möller received his second yellow card and was thus sent off from the match. With one man down on the field, Fortuna FF found it even harder to come back, and in the 92nd minute, Felix Persson scored the decisive goal for Bjärreds, leading to a final score of 3-0.
Bjärreds IF demonstrated solid defensive play and efficiency in attack, resulting in a well-deserved victory. Fortuna FF will need to regroup for their next match and try to get back on the winning track.
