The match between IK Wormo and Borstahusens BK at Exercisfältet A-plan in Division 4 Skåne Nordvästra was an eventful affair. Despite the low turnout of spectators, both teams provided entertaining football.
Borstahusens BK took control of the match from the start, and in the sixth minute, they took the lead through Casper Sandin. IK Wormo tried to get back into the game but instead witnessed Borstahusen's Andreas Nilsson score 0-2 with a fine free-kick in the 41st minute.
However, just before halftime, IK Wormo managed to reduce the deficit through Jesper Sjöland, which gave the team hope for the second half. Unfortunately, it didn't take long before Borstahusens extended their lead again, this time with a penalty by Andreas Nilsson in the 46th minute.
IK Wormo did not give up, though, and equalized again in the 67th minute through Adnan Ramadani. Despite a brave attempt to catch up, they were never able to find an equalizer. The match also took a dramatic turn in the 84th minute when Borstahusens' Tarik Cripljanin was sent off.
When the referee blew the final whistle, it was clear that Borstahusens BK had won 3-2, thereby maintaining their position at the top of the table. IK Wormo will need to regroup for their upcoming matches to climb the standings.
