At Lunnarps IP in Östra Skåne, two eager local teams met: Lunnarps BK and Vanneberga IF. The home crowd, around 100 people, meaning full stands, was ready for a pleasant Saturday afternoon at the arena. The referee team, with Emil Bobovac as the main referee and Ismar Huremovic and Isac Norling as assistant referees, kicked off the match with a sharp whistle in the whistling wind and clear blue sky.
After a balanced start, Lunnarps BK broke free and scored crucial goals in the first half of the match. First, it was Alfons Silverberg who, after a fine pass, slammed in the 1-0 goal in the 30th minute. Then Wilmer Andersson made it 2-0 with a beautiful finish about four minutes later. Both teams launched long balls into no-man's land.
Vanneberga IF tried to find their way into the match, but Lunnarps BK’s defense was too strong for their attacks to yield any real results.
However, the pace quickly picked up when Vanneberga IF applied aggressive pressure on the ball, but Lunnarps managed to kickstart their counterattacks. At the same time, the undersigned was surprised as two yellow cards were shown to Vanneberga IF - first Kristian Ekstrand received a yellow after a tackle, and then Samuel Jonsson was also cautioned.

The match’s third yellow card was issued quickly by the referee team. Alfons Silverberg, a Charlton Athletic fan, received his second yellow card of the match and had to leave the field with a red card after bringing down a Vanneberga player with a swift tackle in the 61st minute. Ali Khalil received the last yellow card of the match, but Lunnarps BK managed to fend off all of Vanneberga's plays and ensured that the match ended 3-0.
On this afternoon, Lunnarps BK showed the opposition what real football is. A straightforward, fighting style of play that earned the home team three vital points in Division 4 Östra Skåne.
The crowd went home satisfied, celebrating the victory together with the players at the arena. Vanneberga IF struggled to mount an offensive challenge during the match, failing to pose any problems for Lunnarps. Next up, Lunnarps BK will play away against Sala FF in a week, while Vanneberga IF will face their closest competitor in the league, Kävlinge GIF, at home on their own field.
