A sunny Sunday morning at Thurevallen A-plan began with an outstanding display by Malmö FF Academy as they defeated Lilla Beddinge BK with a resounding 9-0 in Division 4 Skåne Sydöstra for women.
Already after four minutes, Malmö FF took the lead through Alexia Mitkovska, and the goals continued to rain in during the first half. Klara Wilton increased the lead to 2-0 in the 23rd minute, followed by Leila Sehovic who extended it to 3-0 seven minutes later. Mitkovska found the net again in the 40th minute before Olivia von Barnekow-Løfberg scored another goal just before halftime. Mitkovska capped off the first half with a hat trick, leaving Malmö FF leading 6-0.
In the second half, Malmö FF continued to dominate the match. Von Barnekow-Løfberg made it 7-0 shortly after the break, followed by Elina Strand who added an 8-0 goal in the 82nd minute. Mitkovska completed her magical performance with yet another goal in the 85th minute, bringing the match to a close with a score of 9-0 in favor of Malmö FF Academy.
Referee Ibrahim Majeed kept order in the game, and the audience at Thurevallen A-plan witnessed an impressive victory for Malmö FF Academy. After such a dominant performance, the team is sure to be a strong contender in the league moving forward.
