It was a sunny Saturday morning at Gullviksborgs IP A-plan when AIF Barrikaden faced Kvarnby IK in Division 4 Skåne Sydvästra for women. Only 20 people made it to the venue to watch the match, but they were treated to an exciting game filled with plenty of struggle and intensity.
The match started at a high tempo, with both teams delivering good play. AIF Barrikaden had a bit more possession in the early stages and managed to create a few dangerous opportunities, but Kvarnby IK's defense held strong and kept a clean sheet.
The second half began in the same way as the first, but after about 15 minutes, AIF Barrikaden started to take control more and more. They created several dangerous chances and eventually, in the 59th minute, they managed to score. Hannah Dahlqvist was the one who found the back of the net after a nice pass from one of her teammates.
After the goal, AIF Barrikaden continued to create chances and had several good opportunities to score more. Kvarnby IK struggled to come back, as their attacking play was not strong enough and they had difficulty creating any dangerous chances.
In the 71st minute, AIF Barrikaden's Kajsa Lundqvist received a warning after a tough tackle on a Kvarnby IK player. Despite this, AIF Barrikaden continued to dominate the match and maintained their lead until the final whistle.
The match ended 1-0 in favor of AIF Barrikaden, a well-deserved victory following a strong team performance. Kvarnby IK fought hard but struggled to threaten their opponents. It was an exciting match for the few spectators who had made it to Gullviksborgs IP A-plan that Saturday morning.
