Vellinge FF faced Vellinge IF at home on the Vellinge IP A-plan on Saturday afternoon. A crowd of 250 people gathered to see which Vellinge team would emerge victorious in this Division 4 Skåne South West match. Referee Joakim Lundkvist was accompanied by assistants Sebastian Cronsell and Mostafa Al-Sultani as they stepped onto the field to officiate the match.

It was Vellinge FF who got off to the better start, and after 14 minutes, they were awarded a penalty after a handball by a Vellinge IF defender. Thom Nilsson stepped up and placed the ball in the net, giving Vellinge FF an early lead of 1-0. After 27 minutes, it was time for Thom Nilsson to score again. Emil Svensson delivered a fine pass to Nilsson, who skillfully placed the ball behind the Vellinge IF goalkeeper. With the score at 2-0, it looked as though Vellinge FF was heading towards a comfortable victory.

In the second half, Vellinge IF attempted everything they could to get back into the match. After 65 minutes, Simon Borg received a caution for Vellinge FF, but that did not stop them from scoring their third goal. After 77 minutes, Emil Svensson found the net again, and Vellinge FF led 3-0. Vellinge IF's coach, Jörgen Eriksson, received a warning after 84 minutes for contesting a decision. With only a few minutes left in the match, Vellinge IF managed to reduce the deficit after Harry Kajrup scored, but it was too late to save the match. The game ended 3-1 in favor of Vellinge FF.

Vellinge FF emerged victorious in this Vellinge derby and celebrated while Vellinge IF went home with a heavy defeat to recover from. Vellinge FF's next match will be against another Skåne opponent, Trelleborgs FF, while Vellinge IF will host FC Trelleborg at home.
