It was an exciting and close match between HM IS (9-m) and Holsby SK B at Slättvallen 1 in Mariannelund. The home team HM IS (9-m) took the lead in the very first minute through Emma Sjökvist, but the visiting Holsby SK B quickly responded and equalized after 25 minutes with a goal from Vilma Adolfsson.
After a balanced first half where both teams created chances, it was HM IS (9-m) that went into halftime with the lead after Ellen Stejdahl scored to make it 2-1 in the 36th minute.
In the second half, Holsby SK B regrouped and took the lead with Tove Karlsson first equalizing to 2-2 and then scoring again in the 62nd minute to make it 3-2, assisted by Elsa Brorsson. However, the home team had other plans and fought their way back into the match. Emma Sjökvist scored her second goal of the day in the 76th minute to equalize at 3-3.
There was a nervous and tense atmosphere in the stands when Tove Karlsson scored her second goal of the day, giving Holsby SK B the lead with only seven minutes left in the match. But the home team did not give up, and in the 85th minute, Nellie Davidsson scored what would turn out to be the final goal of the match, equalizing for HM IS (9-m).
The match ended 4-4, and the spectators at Slättvallen 1 witnessed a real thriller. Referee Henrik Blomgren can be pleased with a well-executed match by both teams.
