Bäckebo GOIF and IFK Påryd met at Bäckebo IP 1 in an exciting match in Division 4 Småland Continuation Series East, women's division. Both teams had a lot to play for, but it was IFK Påryd who took the lead just four minutes into the game through Maja Swedestam. Only four minutes later, Ellen Josefsson increased the lead to 2-0 for IFK Påryd. However, Bäckebo GOIF quickly responded with Amanda Johansson Nilsson, who reduced the score to 2-1 in the ninth minute.
Bäckebo GOIF continued to press, and Alicia Lekselius equalized to 2-2 in the eleventh minute. Agnes Eriksson then gave Bäckebo GOIF the lead in the eighteenth minute, and Johansson Nilsson increased the lead to 4-2 in the twenty-fourth minute. Bäckebo GOIF continued to dominate, and Eriksson expanded the lead to 5-2 in the thirtieth minute. Almida Kallenberg then scored in the thirty-fourth minute of the first half, and Johansson Nilsson scored her second goal of the match and Bäckebo GOIF's sixth goal in the forty-second minute.
In the second half, the goals kept coming for Bäckebo GOIF. Johansson Nilsson scored her third goal of the match in the fourth minute of the second half, and Kallenberg netted her second goal and Bäckebo GOIF's ninth goal of the match in the fifty-sixth minute. Eriksson scored her second goal of the match and Bäckebo GOIF's tenth goal in the eighty-seventh minute. Alice Eklund then scored Bäckebo GOIF's eleventh and final goal in the ninetieth minute.
The match ended in a clear victory for Bäckebo GOIF, who won with a score of 11-2. IFK Påryd's Alva Bodström scored a consolation goal in the very last minute of the match, but it was not enough to lift the team out of defeat. Bäckebo GOIF played an excellent match and secured a well-deserved victory that gives them confidence for the upcoming matches.
