Ölmstad IS and Tranås FF met in an exciting Division 4 match at ÖIS-gården in Ölmstad with an audience of 75 people. The referee for the day was Christian Johansson, assisted by Sara Rimfält and Abdulrahman Alali.
The match started well for the home team Ölmstad IS, who took the lead already after eight minutes through Viktor Hjertstedt. Just seven minutes later, Martin Källberg extended the lead to 2-0 for Ölmstad. However, the team received a warning when Oscar Lager picked up a yellow card after a harsh tackle.
Tranås FF fought back and Tobias Åkesson reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the 34th minute. In the second half, the equalizer came when Emil Ljung scored a penalty for Tranås FF in the 65th minute.
Ölmstad IS looked poised to win the match when Julius Forssmed headed in to make it 3-2 in the 80th minute. But Tranås FF did not give up, and Isak Segersson managed to equalize to 3-3 just two minutes later.
The match thus ended in a draw, 3-3, with both teams earning a point. An entertaining match with many goals and an exciting conclusion had the spectators on site cheering and applauding both teams for their efforts on the field.
