Assyriska IK hosted Tenhults IF at Rosenlunds IP in Jönköping in front of an audience of 90 people. Referee Alen Catovic officiated the match, assisted by Meron Bashar Shaba and Wael Khoder.
The match started poorly for the home team as Tenhults IF took the lead just 7 minutes in with a beautiful free-kick goal from Endrit Hyseni. Ten minutes later, Nikola Stolic extended the lead to 0-2, and the goal fest continued when Eric Johansson made it 0-3 in the 28th minute.
However, Assyriska IK managed to come alive in the second half, with Sonny Karlsson reducing the deficit to 1-3 in the 56th minute. He also scored his team’s second goal when he made it 2-3 in the 67th minute.
With only 20 minutes left in the match, Seif Kadhim equalized with a lovely long-range free-kick goal. Despite intense attempts from both teams to win the match, the score remained 3-3 when the referee blew the final whistle.
Assyriska IK and Tenhults IF left the field with one point each, with Assyriska IK holding on to eighth place in the standings while Tenhults IF remained in tenth place. A dramatic match that offered many goals and excitement right up until the final whistle.
