Nybro IF took a narrow victory against Sandsbro AIK at Victoriavallen 1 in an intense match in Division 4 Småland Östra.
The match started with a high tempo and it was not long before Nybro IF took the lead through Zinedin Haznadar in the 7th minute. Sandsbro AIK struggled to get back into the game and their efforts were rewarded in the 68th minute when Melvin Lockby managed to equalize to 1-1.
However, Nybro IF responded quickly and in the 72nd minute they regained the lead through Vernes Mujkic who put the ball in the net and sent the crowd at Victoriavallen into ecstasy. Despite several attempts from Sandsbro AIK to find an equalizer, they did not succeed and Nybro IF held on to their lead until the final whistle.
The match was tightly played and referee Armin Crnovrsanin had to hand out two warnings to Nybro IF players at the end of the match - Eddie Bernestrå and Carl Johansson.
The crowd at Victoriavallen could see an exciting match between two rival teams, and in the end it was Nybro IF who could celebrate the victory with 2-1 over Sandsbro AIK.
