Lessebo GoIF delivered a strong performance when they faced Tingsryd United FC on a rainy Tuesday evening at Lessebo IP. The match was witnessed by an empty stand, but that did not stop the home team from delivering a convincing 5-0 victory.

Already in the 19th minute, Lessebo took the lead when Filip Jeppsson found the back of the net after a nice pass from his peer Johannes Ahl. The home team continued to create dangerous opportunities, and their attacks resulted in another goal from Jeppsson, this time in the 41st minute.

Tingsryd United FC desperately tried to get back into the match, but their opponents were too strong for them. In the 60th minute, new addition Basil Elias increased the lead to 3-0, and just two minutes later, he scored another goal.

Lessebo kept pressing, and in the 79th minute, Ahl scored a goal after a rebound from the Tingsryd goalkeeper. After that, it was just a matter of maintaining the distance and preserving their high level of play.

The match featured some tough tackles, and Tingsryd United FC received two yellow cards, one of which led to a red card for Anton Lönn in the 90th minute. Lessebo GoIF secured an important victory and hoped it would inspire them to turn the direction of their season, even though they still sit second to last in the table.
